We were the mosaic. Or a part of it. Friday evening, 24.02., in the Kompany, our movie Inside took part in an awesome meeting of visual artistis - bring your own beamer. Almost 300 people came and created not only a spectacular event of images but also atmosphere :)

SoundLoom - Audio AudioArt Festival

It's been almost a week since the AudioArt , ending, where debiuted first installation by Franciszek and  Peter Sych.

Turning up the pendulum, friday 18.11, opened up the festival taking place in the Bunkier Sztuki. SoundLoom is created by four independent sound scripts.
Uruchomienie wahadła w piątek 18.11.otworzyło część festiwalową w Bunkrze Sztuki. SoundLoom, tworzone jest przez cztery scenariusze dźwiękowe (Błoto, Powietrze, Brzytwa i Żądza) współtworzące muzykę generowaną przez chaotyczny ruch. Wahadło, poruszone ręką widza, za każdym razem podąża inną ścieżką. Jego ruch wzbudza czujniki dźwięku, uruchamiając niepowtarzalną i oryginalną kompozycję. Chłodna faktura brzmienia koresponduje z jego dynamiczną i nieokiełznaną trajektorią. SoundLoom tworzy samowystarczalny świat dźwięków – zamknięty, ale jednocześnie wymagający obecności człowieka i jego ingerencji.

czech republic - Gramodeska Competition

Last week we visited Brno and Prague, where the final concerts of European Young Composers Gramodeska Competition 2011 took place. The piece Tensions got qualified to the finals, and strictly to the vinyl record which we truly admire.

The first concert, in Brno, was rather an audiovisual performance (Franciszek - piano, Tomek Przetacznik - guitar) - during which we presented the movie Inside:

Unfortunately we did not manage to get any professional recording from the Gramodeska stuff so we're uploading only a piece from the Prague performance (this time without the movie due to the Gramodeska technical problems ... ) :

Let's get it started. Since a few days you can follow our youtube channel Origo na youtube, so now it time to start bloggin. 

In our first project, named Places, we're tryin to look into the surrounding spaces without changing it, without iterrupting, without other contact than to look. We're looking for moments, when this space opens up for our eye and looses its structure, to show off identity and character.
